Pantone announced “Honeysuckle” as the 2011 Color of the Year. And while
that color will certainly be everywhere as we near Spring, there seems to be a
different color on the block at the moment: Blue.

As
you continue to plan your Winter events, why not give your tabletop the blues?

Also, be sure to check back for a
sneak peak of an exciting event we’re working on this week. We’ve sent
some Mosaic gals across the State to work their magic in transforming
an authentic Farm Show venue - previously housing 6,500 farm animals, complete
with their own individual, pungent aromas - to a surreal Governor’s gala
celebration, including Governor-Elect Tom Corbett, close to 5,000 guests, 30
bars (not to mention over 14,000 pieces of stemware and dishes), and just under 700
tablecloths… Oh and did we mention they had 72 hours to complete this mission?
Spoiler alert: The event was pulled off without a hitch thanks to our dignitary Shelly Tolo, of Seattle-based
TOLO Events, who many of you may already know as
Mosaic’s Westcoast rep. Our next blog will include photos of the celebration,
and some behind-the-scenes footage of the intense, and often grueling, process
of bringing an event of this scale (think 3 football fields) to life. Stay tuned!
