Fall 2013 Pantone Color

We’ve had a fabulous time this Fall using Pantone’s Fashion Color Report as a guide for color at our events! The hues chosen this season were rich and bright, incorporating saturated color palettes. Taking inspiration from the report, Mosaic brought many affairs to life with the hottest linen palettes in the industry. On today’s blog, we wanted to share a few of our favorite examples of events inspired by PMS colors:

Top row, from left to right:
·      Hints of Emerald at an outdoor photo-shoot.
·      Linden Green was used for both the linens and place settings at a Hospital Gala.
·      A Mykonos Blue glimmer in the drapes for this wedding cake display.
·      Acai lighting and accents made The Fairmont glow at this Mitzvah.
·      A Samba filled atmosphere at this studio event space.

Bottom row, from left to right:
·      Koi was the perfect color to capture the vibe at the Carnegie Museum of History.
·      Guests saw lots of Lichen Green at this “forces of nature” themed fundraiser.
·      Vivacious was used on chairs and to drape the ceiling at a Nashville event.
·      Carafe accents created the perfect backdrop at this historic landmark wedding.
·      Turbulence was the inspiration for this leaf jungle cake table.

As you prepare to host Thanksgiving dinner, there is a lot of ground to cover. From guests lists and seating arrangements to family recipes and table settings, these next few weeks will be busy for all those hosting affairs!

Centerpieces this time of year can be both fun and festive. Don’t limit yourself to flowers alone. Use those gourds to spruce up your table, grab some fallen leaves from your front yard if you live in New England, and even display artisanal breads, fruits and vegetables to make your bounty plentiful!

Of course no holiday table is complete without a gorgeous tablecloth and coordinating napkins!  Use moss majestic or orange fortuny tablecloths and curry hemstitch napkins from Mosaic for your Thanksgiving celebration.

Our gold sheer circles also look great with a large centerpiece!

If in doubt on how to set a proper place setting, we’re here to help. This diagram provides a visual of everything that you’ll need:

Remember, Thanksgiving is all about being grateful for the things that you have in your life, so don’t stress too much when preparing for the big day. Count your blessings and prepare in advance so you can enjoy this day with family and friends.
